a. Exchange with the University of Alberta - Canada. Professor David Normando maintains an international cooperation project with Professor Carlos Flores-Mir and Giseon Heo of the College of Dentistry of the University of Alberta - Canada. The Cooperation involves participation in master's degrees and academic cooperation in systematic reviews and clinical studies.

b. In 2017, PPGO prepared the Internationalization Project of the Dentistry Graduate Program of the Federal University of Pará, in compliance with the Public Notice 11 / 2017- PROPESP / PROINTER related to PrInt-CAPES (Public Notice 41/2017). Coordinator: David Norman (UFPA). The project aims to conduct, among other activities, Systematic Review workshops, taught by Professor Carlos Flores-Mir (UA) for professors and students of PPGO; Multivariate statistical analysis course, to be taught by Professor Giseon Heo (UA) for professors and students of PPGO; Training, taught by Professor Andrew Smith (UCL) in methods of research in molecular biology confocal microscopy and flow cytometry. Doctorate in sandwich format of two students of PPGO-UFPA involved in research projects, the basis of this internationalization action.

c. In 2017 the PPGO promoted three days of courses for students and professors of the Program, in addition to the basic learning function, the lectures also served to strengthen ties with professionals from other universities. Professor Carlos Flores-Mir, Alberta - Canada, who attended a course on systematic review in an environment prepared to broadcast live to the campuses of the interior of the State of Pará, was present. 

d. Through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) of the "Knowledge Co-Creation Program (Nikkei-Japanese Descendants)", Mônica Naomi Seko was awarded a scholarship in Japan in the area of ​​Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. In 2017, for a period of two months, she was a trainee in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at Tokyo Medical and Dental University coordinated by Professor Tohru Kurabayashi. During this period, he worked with several devices, such as CT, magnetic resonance and fluoroscope, giving a logical emphasis to computerized cone beam tomography as the subject of his dissertation. 

e. As a result of the postdoctoral research carried out in London by Professor João Pinheiro, João Pinheiro and Sérgio Alves currently collaborate with researcher Andrew Mark Smith of the College of London for the use of cell lines developed in London in Research projects that study the Cellular Signaling Pathways of Dental Neoplasms in Belém.

a. The Professors João Pinheiro, Fabrício Tuji and Sérgio Alves, all permanent professors, develop two research projects in partnership with the Faculty of Dentistry of UFMG (Professor Ricardo Alves de Mesquita) on Neoplasms of the bucomaxillofacial complex. These projects count on the participation of students from PPGO and Fellows of CI and have the Financial Aid of the Public Prosecution Service (check funding). Master's degree student Humberto Jácome is collecting part of his sample for the master's dissertation at the stomatology clinic of the Faculty of Dentistry of UFMG and the master's degree student Raissa Mendonça is using the paraffin blocks from the collection of the Oral Pathology laboratory at UFMG. In 2017, professors Sérgio Alves and João Pinheiro (tenured professors) established cooperation to develop projects on Viral Carcinogenesis of Oral Neoplasms, with the reference center for cancer treatment and Evandro Chagas Institute, a reference center for infectious diseases.

b. Professors Fabrício Tuji and Sérgio Alves developed a research project in partnership with the Department of Medicine of the University Center of the State of Pará (Rosa Helena Chaves), Department of Genetics of UFPA (Bruno Moreira Soares) and Department of Chemistry, Laboratory of Systematic Research in Biotechnology and Molecular Biodiversity of UFPA (Hugo Leonardo Crisóstomo Salgado and Alberdan Silva Santos). The project involved undergraduate, graduate (master's and doctoral) students and aimed to investigate Andiroba's cicatricial activity in oral Mucositis induced by 5-fluoracil in golden Syrian hamsters.

c. A partnership of Professor João Pinheiro in a research project to study Tumor Hypoxia in Neoplasms with professors Ruy Gastaldoni Jaeger, Cynthia Aparecida Bueno de Toledo Osório, Fernando Soares and Vanessa M. Freitas from ICB of USP. Professors Roberta Couto and Cecy Martins have a partnership with researcher Kelson of Carmo Freitas Faial of the Evandro Chagas Institute in the production of knowledge in the chemical analysis of Biomaterials, currently developing the master’s project of the student Thaís Mendoça Petta entitled "Evaluation of physical, chemical and biological aspects of biodentine compared to other Biomaterials used as pulp hoods. Professor Roberta Couto also maintains a partnership for the study of phytotherapics with Amazonian plants, with the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, through researcher Manoela Domingues.

d. Professor Rafael Lima maintains partnerships with several researchers from Brazil, from different areas of knowledge, including: Dental Sciences Graduate Program, USP Bauru - Professor Marilia Buzalaf, with the Dentistry Graduate Program of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - Professor Manoela Domingues Martis, with the Pharmacology graduate Program of UFSC, Professor Rui Prediger, with the Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Program of UFPA, Professor Cristiane do Socorro Ferraz Maia and Professor Marta Chagas Monteiro, with Genetics and Molecular Biology graduate Program of UFPA, Professor Maria Elena Crezpo Lopes, with the Chemistry Graduate Program of UFPA, Professor Kelly F. G. Dantas, in addition to its program of origin, the Neurosciences and Cell Biology Graduate Program, with Professor Walace Gomes Leal. 

f. Professor David Normando has been maintaining projects of Systematic Reviews since the trainings with Professor Lucianne Cople Maia (UFRJ) held at UFPA. Another research partnership established by Professor David Normando occurs with Professor Guilherme Almeida of the Dentistry Graduate Program of the Federal University of Uberlândia. The partnership involves the collection of samples in private clinics in Belém and Uberlândia, which comprised the master's dissertation of Mônica Aragón, published in 2017, and Marco Nassar, defended in 2017. 

g. Professor Juliana Brandão (Tenured Professor) has a partnership with the Clinical Procedures Department of UERJ, through Professor Emmanuel João Nogueira Leal Silva. 

h. Cooperation of Professor Fabricio Tuji with Professor Fábio Ramoa of the Faculty of Dentistry of the State University of Campinas.

i. Professor Hélder Pinheiro established a partnership with Professors Paulo Capel Narvai and Paulo Frazão of the Faculty of Public Health, University of São Paulo, in the Multicentric Project "Coverage and Surveillance of Fluoridation of Public Supply Water in Brazil. Project Vigifluor ". 

j) Professor Sandro Loretto published the article "Influence of the Extended Use of Desensitizing Toothpaste on Dentin Bonding, Microhardness and Roughness" in the Brazilian Dental Journal (quails: A2) in partnership with Professor Igor Studart Medeiros, Department of Dental Materials, Faculty of Dentistry, USP (FOUSP). The publication is related to the dissertation work of Juliana Dias Aguiar, former student of the PPGO-UFPA (Dentistry area) (under the advisement of Professor Sandro Cordeiro Loretto), who developed the experimental (laboratory) stage at FOUSP. She has also been advised by Professor Igor Studart Medeiros (FOUSP). Currently, the student of the PPGO-UFPA, Mara Eliane Soares Ribeiro, after qualifying her dissertation project, will continue to FOUSP in order to perform the experimental stage of her dissertation work, again under the coordination of Professor Igor Studart Medeiros, continuing the established partnership.
